Our piercers are the only members of the Association of Professional Piercers in the entire San Jose area, and we take pride in cleanliness and friendliness. We respect and appreciate every person that places their trust in us with their modifications.
Hey there! I started in the industry at the local studio near my hometown of Hershey PA in 2006 and began piercing here in San Jose in 2009. One of my favorite things about my job is being able to connect with each unique person I meet. I truly believe that piercing can be transformative, fun, empowering, intimate, powerful and liberating depending on the client in the chair. I’m in love with warm toned stones (try saying that three times fast) and as a January baby I’m partial to Garnets! At home I’m a mom to three dogs and two cats. I’m also a DIY queen to a fault. There are few projects think I couldn’t do myself. I mean, how hard can it be, right?

I am proud to be trauma informed and strive to create a safe space within the studio where you can really explore your own personal style with piercings and jewelry! I love ear styling/curations, warm tones of gold and ALL of the green stones, and my favorite piercing to do is a conch!
When I'm not in the studio, you can find me stuck in a book, traveling the world (Japan is my favorite place I've visited so far!), or finding another concert to attend. Can't wait to help you achieve the piercings of your dreams!
Alana has been piercing for 16 years and prides themselves on creating the most comfortable and gentle piercing experience possible. They enjoy curating various cohesive jewelry looks with grey diamonds being their personal favorite gemstone. Their favorite piercings are conches, daith piercings and a fun stacked earlobe! When not in the studio Alana can be found somewhere beautiful in nature with their dogs.
Alana also serves on the Association of Professional Piercers Board of Directors, and works to uphold the organizations mission of health and safety in relation to piercing.
When you come by you’ll most likely see (or hear) me jamming out to our tunes being played throughout the studio. I graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a degree in communications. As a jewelry stylist here, I enjoy getting to know our clients and guiding them to their perfect piece. Tones of greens and black throughout our collection are most likely curated by myself as I'm drawn to earth tones and high contrast. I’m a huge video game nerd and most likely Survivors number one fan. The tribe has spoken.
Is a proud first generation Filipinx-American and second generation body artist in their family. She uses modern techniques to validate body autonomy through ancestral practices passed down to her by her uncle. Nessa strives to give each client a unique and memorable piercing experience. They are trauma informed and do their best to make their clients feel safe, seen and heard.
Nessa’s favorite piercings to perform are septum, genital piercings, and children's earlobes as they make her feel a connection to both her ancestors and former self anytime she does them. Prior to becoming a piercer they were a professional educator and childcare provider. She loves that piercing has given her the opportunity to merge facets of her other professional careers into one.
Nessa has been piercing in the Bay Area for over nine years, and started traveling as a part time guest piercer in 2021. They’ve been a regular guest with us and now you get to see her more regularly! When she isn’t piercing you can find her hanging with her partner and pups, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and building connections with members of @filipino.piercing.peril

I love anything art, especially the art I get to create being a jewelry specialist. With a bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts and Technology I bring my love for both photography and film to Make Me Holey while trying to capture the jewelry and beautiful culture of our studio.
